The Callaway XR OS iron set features the new and improved Cup 360 Technology that increases ball speeds and a multi-piece construction for even more ball speed and great feel. The low and back Center of Gravity and wider sole make these irons easy to hit and very forgiving and provide an easy launch of the golf ball. The XR OS irons also feature progressive lengths and lofts to maximize distance off of each club in the set. This set is available as a combo set which includes hybrids to replace the long irons.

can my credit be deducted, before I pay, and ship new clubs then? Or can you credit my account if it's paid up front. It looks like you issue a n e-credit. I don't want a credit that has to be spent. I'm looking to reduce my purchase cost.
asked by Fred M. on 3/27/2016
If you are referring to a trade-in, we cannot issue a credit for trade-ins until your items have been received here, evaluated, and been processed at our facility. If you set up your trade-in first on the website, and then make your purchase from the confirmation page of trade-in being submitted, the order will be credited with your trade-in value once it is completed on our end. You will pay for the purchase up front.

What is the difference between XR and XR OS?
asked by John L. on 5/18/2016
In comparison to the XR, the XR OS will have a larger more oversize head. This would make it more forgiving and tend to launch the ball higher compared to the XR.

Good clubs

I am a high handicap and went with the XR OS irons. They are great. Now if I were to grab a 6, I could grab a 7. Or if I think I need an 8 I now grab a 9. So, I've noticed some distance differences. They have a nice launch angle to help get the ball in the air. I have the graphite shaft with regular flex. If you're in the market for new irons these are really nice ones. Do NOT let the "Over Size" feature fool you, I tried the standard XR and XR OS in person and the visual difference is MINIMAL. If you hold them next to each other you can see it but looking down before you swing it's almost impossible to tell. I wanted that to be clear as some people picture massive club heads when IMO thats not the case.

Great Irons

Handicap: 21+  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I have been struggling with my irons for several years (I used to hit irons well, and for a few years I played with irons only), but these have given me back some of my old confidence. I highly recommend them to anyone who is a mid-to-high handicapper. I'm even been getting my old distance back (which, at 75, is a blessing). I really like these clubs.

Fabulous Deal!

Although I was looking for this specific iron set in a ladies flex, I came across these in senior flex and pondered whether or not they would be a good fit. I called and spoke to one of their female Pros who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She guided me to a decision and explained their buyback program. Feeling I had not much to lose and a lot to gain and I cannot be more thrilled. These clubs are in phenomenal condition, and after taking them to the driving range, I believe I'm going to have a successful league season!

I have only played two rounds with my new irons. I am getting used to the distances but I like the feel and I'm looking forward to playing them on a regular basis

The Callaway XR OS Iron

The Callaway XR OS Iron set has Cup 360 face technology on the back cavity of the iron. The cup face wraps around the front of the club to increase ball speed and the weld lines to be behind the face rather than on it. A larger head allows for a bigger cavity behind the face and a thinner sole area on the bottom enables it to flex more at impact.

The next generation Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup is where the face wraps around the front of the club. It increases ball speed across the face for longer distance and forgiveness on off-center hits.

Built with a new construction and shape, the iron is the product of a dual heat treatment. Its price and meticulous craftsmanship mean it’s an iron made for speed out on the golf course. Use it if you’re improving your game or if you’re a slower swing player who needs more forgiveness.

These are your Utry selections. Only Utry eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our Utry golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club or $100 an iron set. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. Utry lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club or 1 iron set for $100.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

Utry gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
