Description

The King F8+ driver has golf’s first CNC precision milled forged titanium face and features an tour preferred shape for maximum workability and E9 elliptical Sweet Zone pattern for maximum forgiveness. CNC precision milling ensures precise specifications for optimal performance and more precise thicknesses resulting in a thinner and hotter face to increase ball speed and distance. Innovative Polymer Aero trips around the clubhead improve drag reduction to generate maximum clubhead speed while Dual Roll Technology optimizes launch and spin for shots hit both high and low on the face. Two CG positions in the back and heel help you to tune your distance and trajectory under variable conditions and the MyFly 8 with SmartPad helps you to manage trajectory and fine tune launch conditions to maximize distance and keeps the face square. Cobra Connect Powered by Arccos, allows you to track their performance to improve your game. **Cobra Connect may not be available on pre-owned product**

Features

  • CNC Precision Milled Face and E9 elliptical Sweet Zone increase ball speed and forgiveness across the entire club face
  • 2-gram and 12-gram interchangeable weights on the sole help control ball flight
  • 360° Aero technology - improves aerodynamics during the whole golf swing to create more clubhead speed
  • Cobra Connect Powered by Arccos tracks the club’s performance to help you improve your game
  • 8 easily adjustable loft settings

Q
What's the difference in a standard F8 driver and the F8+? I couldn't see any distinction in the descriptions. Thanks.
asked by Brad S. on 3/2/2018
A
The F8 has weight ports in the back and in the heel allowing ball flight to be adjusted between neutral and draw biased. The F8+ has ports in the back and the front center. This can be used to change from high launch and spin to low launch and spin. Also, the F8 can be adjusted between 9 and 12 degrees while the F8+ can be adjusted between 8 and 11 degrees and is standard length 45.25 inches instead of the F8's 45.75 inches.

My best driver yet.

This is a step UP from the previous Cobra leading driver, that I have owned and used for two years and have liked very much; and the F8 club head with 'sweep spot engineering and milling' + shaft are a wonderful combination of mechanical advantage and swing balance. My swing had been shaped to use the older Cobra Driver, but I needed no adjustment to use the new F8...it is an excellent advancement, and the distance is a good 30-40 yards better than before. It is a keeper. [Did I say that I am 71 years old, and loving golf more than ever?]

This driver is just gorgeous to look at. The F8 is a 460cc driver and the plus is a 440. I have always used smaller drivers to keep control. I had the opportunity to test this driver at the PGA Merchandise Show and fell in love. Finally bought this driver and took it to the course, shooting 2 strokes less than my average each time. Cobra is well made highly recommend!

Solid as you can get!

Just upgraded from a Nike Vapor Pro (which I loved), and after 2 rounds my verdict is that the Cobra F8+ is awesome!! Definitely has a more “solid” feel at impact. Less trampoline feel than the deeper faced driver I replaced. Took about a half bucket to adjust to it, but now I actually prefer the feel. Really gives you good feedback and you can feel where your misses are hitting. I opted for the PX HZRDUS shaft which I’ve wanted to try out anyway. That puppy is STIFF!! I swing in the 110-115 range and have a hard time loading it. But the combo keeps it between the uprights all day! I threw a Rogue 125 in and its full. I highly recommend the Cobra F8+! ????????

I purchased the F8+ several weeks ago. Due to weather I have only played 3 rounds with it, but at this point I'm very pleased with this driver. Very solid feel even on off-center hits. For the past 10 years I've been hitting a Cobra F-Speed driver, and this new F8+ is a very nice upgrade. I'm 70 years old and play to an 8 to 10 handicap.

Technology / Specs

Cobra KING F8+ Black Driver

The Cobra KING F8+ driver has some unique and industry-first features to help you play your best golf. It is geared toward better players, up to a 15 handicap.

CNC Precision Milled Face

For the first time in the golf industry, Cobra mills the face of the KING F8+ driver. Milling the face has a few main benefits. Milling ensures uniform thickness on every club. It also allows the face to be made thinner which results in more ball speed. Finally, it improves sound and feel.

360° Aero Technology

Aero trips surround the crown and sole of the KING F8+ driver. They improve airflow throughout the entire swing. Swinging the club faster improves distance.

Cobra Connect

Cobra Connect is a feature built into the grip that tracks key stats in a free app to help you play better. It gives you distances and shot tendancies, so you know what to practice. Another feautre of the app is that it takes the data collected and recommends loft and weight placement settings.

Adjustability

You can adjust the KING F8+ driver in a couple ways. A 2-gram and 12-gram weight on the sole can be interchanged to control ball flight. Placing the heavier weight in the back raises the launch angle and forgiveness. Putting the 12-gram weight in the forward position produces lower ball flight and spin.

You can also adjust the loft with the MyFly8 hosel. There are 8 loft setting to dial in your ball flight.

Below are details on the stock options for the KING F8 driver.
