Yes, Cobra Golf has two new driver lines in 2022 - the LTDx and AIR-X drivers.
No, Cobra Golf is not owned by Callaway, though Cobra is part of PUMA.
You’ll recognize several PGA and LPGA Tour players on the Cobra Golf roster, including Bryson DeChambeau, Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson. They play with Cobra drivers and other golf clubs.
Cobra AIR-X drivers are known for their lightweight construction, leading to more distance effortlessly. In fact, this is Cobra Golf’s lightest driver ever and is designed with carbon. In addition to the faster swing speeds, you’ll find more forgiveness with an enlarged sweet spot on the clubface.
There are two Cobra AIR-X drivers, the Offset driver and the Straight Neck driver. The Cobra AIR-X Offset driver has a draw bias built in to help you stave off your slice. The Cobra AIR-X Straight Neck driver excludes the offset hosel - and the draw bias - so you can still take advantage of the lightweight design.
Both of these Cobra drivers are for mid to high handicappers looking for more distance without having to change their swings. Those with slower swing speeds will find themselves hitting the ball further - and maybe even straighter thanks to the offset and/or the larger sweet spot.
If you’re curious which Cobra golf driver is right for you, check out GlobalGolf’s USelect™, where you’ll instantaneously receive recommendations from our driver selector tool. These Cobra drivers pack incredible technology that are sure to make a difference in your game.
The Cobra AIR-X drivers are for players with slower swing speeds looking to hit it further and straighter down the fairway. And if you’re looking for a Cobra driver with draw, Cobra Golf has you covered with the Offset model.
