Cheering on Team USA in Paris

2024 has already brought us many amazing golf moments, and the icing on the cake is sure to be the Games in Paris this August. Nothing is more exciting than being able to cheer along while your favorite players represent Team USA on the world stage, and luckily, we don’t have much longer to wait!

The men’s team has reached the podium at the last 2 games, and the talented team this year gives them a great chance of meeting that goal for the third time. Tokyo gold medalist Xander Schauffele and Colin Morikawa are returning to the 2024 team, and joining them this year are current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and 2023 US Open winner Wyndham Clark. For the women, 2020 gold medalist and current women’s World No. 1 Nelly Korda will be making her second appearance, and Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang will be making their debuts.

For those cheering along at home, GlobalGolf wanted to give you a little insight about what is in each player’s bag - from Callaway to TaylorMade, GlobalGolf is here to walk you through the latest and greatest gear in play at the Games!

    Callaway

Defending gold medalist Xander Schauffele as well as Team USA newcomer Rose Zhang will be arriving at the games this year with the newest Callaway Clubs: The Paradym Ai Smoke. Rounding out their bags are Jaws Raw Wedges, as well as Apex Irons for Xander and an Odyssey Ai-One Double Wide Putter for Rose.

    TaylorMade

TaylorMade’s 2024 club line, the Qi10 family, will see lots of play at the 2024 Games – it’s featured in the bags of Scottie Scheffler, Colin Morikawa and Nelly Korda. Complimenting the Qi10 woods for some players are the P770 irons, MG4 wedges and Spider Tour X Putters. There is no doubt that team TaylorMade will have a strong showing in Paris!

    Titleist

Wyndham Clark will be taking Titleist clubs to the first tee at Le Golf National – his bag consists of both the TSR3 driver and Vokey SM10 wedges. And of course, the Titleist Pro V1x golf balls will also be along for the ride.
