Q
Would you be able to tell me the difference in Loft between the F7 GW and AW?
asked by Doug C. on 2/20/2018
A
With the F7 irons, there are only 3 wedges. The PW(45 degrees), the GW (50 degrees), and the SW (55 degrees). Because the terms AW and GW are sometimes used interchangeably, some of the sets have been listed with GW and some with AW. They are actually referring to the same club.

Technology / Specs

Each club in the Cobra King F7 iron set is designed differently, dubbed “TECFLO.” The different cavities, seen above, in the Cobra King F7 iron set give forgiveness and shot control to each club. Longer irons have the most forgiveness with the full cavity. As the irons get shorter, the cavity lessens, focusing more on precision in the design.

Cobra uses what they call a “PWRSHELL” in the King F7 iron set. This ultra-thin face produces faster ball speed across the face for distance. It also enlarges the sweet spot, making them very forgiving.

Finally, Cobra lowers and centers the CG of the King F7 iron set. Cobra removes weight in different parts of the head and redistributes it to achieve the low, centered CG. Having the CG in the center of the club face improves precision. Below are the standard specs and shafts for the King F7 iron set.
