these irons take a little while to get used to. i have had a set for two years and i am finally finding the spot to hit it. if you dnt hit it in the sweet spot you will get a short or flat hit. these irons will also hit high. if you always hit high, i recomend not to get these irons.

best irons ever!

I have owned these irons since 1997. I believe the original sale price was $1,299.00! They did take a few rounds to get used to but then again which clubs don't? I don't know what "Jon" in the other review is talking about, these irons hit low. These clubs are turned down slightly and have 3 or 4 degrees less angle than the "standard", example, typical PW has 48 degree loft, i believe this has 45 degree. anyways, a few years back i bought a set of NIKE irons that i really liked but just never hit them as well as these. So i went back to them and I'm back to loving them again!

Best Irons I've ever played

I've had these irons since they came
out nearly 20 years ago. Not sure what Jon is talking about. These irons are turned down, the sweet spot is huge, but they are still workable. I have had 5 sets of irons since these, but I always go back to these within a year. They do not hit high and they do not go "short" or "flat" maybe his are broken. Still looking for something newer and comparable. But if you want a great iron and don't want to pay a lot, these are highly recommended

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
