New and Used Ping G425 MAX Driver Golf Clubs

I have been shoddy off the tee the last few years. Perhaps the weakest part of my game. I was struggling with duck hooks last season with my custom shafted G400 driver. I went in to my local golf shop to see if any tweaking/adjustments could be done. I ended up trying the stock regular flex g425 max, and a few other brands latest offerings, on the launch monitor vs my g400. The results with the g425 and my g400 were night and day. With the g425 both my good and bad shots were better. I gained a couple of yds also. The tighter dispersion on all hits was so drastic that I bought the driver that day despite the price tag and the wrath of the wife that would sure to follow when she sees the credit card statement. I have not been able to golf with the g425 yet but have been to the outdoor range where the results from the monitor did indeed carry over. This thing is a fairway finder for sure. Drastically more forgiving which is what I was seeking with my weekend warrior swing. My tee box blues are over. I can’t wait to watch my chrome soft soaring down the pipe. I cannot recommended this club enough.

This is the best Driver I have ever owned. Combines the distance of the G400 with the forgiveness of the G410.

This is the straightest hitting driver I have ever had in my 55 years of golfing. Everyone needs to try this driver and you will be hooked on it like me.

Most forgiving driver I have ever hit--and I've hit a lot of them over the years. Sound is loud--you'll either love it or hate it. Ball feels like it is on the face for a long time at impact. I have not hit any really 300+ boomers with this club like my TM M6, BUT am thrilled to give those up for the short grass. Even mis hits go to my average 275.

Really worth the wait! I’ve gained 20 yards with this driver compared to my G400. Most hits are straight and long. Even off center ones go further.

Came from the G410, and while I’m not sure if it’s much longer if at all, it’s considerably more forgiving. Even the drives that don’t feel great tend to be alright and long. A little more muted than the G410 which is nice.

I did play the Ping G410 for a year or so and jumped right into the G425. I really like the look of the driver-I think the colors work well with each other. The stock orange tensei raw shaft is 1/2" shorter than other stock shafts, just a heads up. Really good feel and sound.

I thought the PING410 Plus was a great club - until I tried the PING G425 Max! I have NEVER hit more fairways in my life. Instead of 3-4 fairways per round, it's more like 10-12 fairways hit - and every once in a while, I'll hit all 14 fairways. I like the adjustable weight in the back, especially on those days when I seem to slice my drive more than usual. I can just change the setting to draw and for the most part, problem is fixed. I know, it's the golfer and not the equipment, but it's always helpful to have the right "tool" to make the game fun!
