Improved distance, no loss of fairways hit
By Anthony B. on 4/19/2021

I love Callaway... I used a Callaway driver for years but recently was hitting a Titleist Driver. When I tested this driver I tested the Calloway vs the Titleist. I used new balls, a spin and a distance, two brands, Titleist ball and a Bridgestone ball... After hitting 8 good contact drives whether I hit it flush or slightly off center the Callaway performed better in distance. Anywhere from 15-20 yards further. To be fair, my Titleist driver is a 10 degree and the Callaway an 9 degree but I consistently hit fairways with both drivers but clearly the Callaway was further off the tee.

Good choice

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I've been playing Taylormade drivers since the R5 and was brand loyal. A golf buddy suggested hitting some of the other drivers this year. I demoed the Epic MAX through the U-Try program along with the Cobra RADspeed. I hadn't hit a Callaway driver since I owned the original Big Bertha. I really liked the feel of the club at contact and I was more consistent with the Epic than the Cobra although distance was about the same. I did pick up about 10 yards off the tee so that was a plus!

Dexterity: Right Hand

Just love the adjustable head on this driver that I can tweak as needed. The drives are very long and forgiving on slight misses. The driver came in great condition and you can't beat the price. I'm very pleased with the upgrade.

Callaway Epic Max LS Driver

callaway epic Max ls driver hero

The New Formula for Incredible Distance

The new Epic Max LS Driver by Callaway was created with a new formula for ball speed, making it the longest driver with the lowest spin that the company has ever created. This formula for distance is simple: A.I + Jailbreak + an all new Speed Frame = Maximum Distance.

All New A.I. Designed Speed Frame

The frame of the Epic Max LS Driver has been designed using A.I. and builds off Jailbreak frames used in previous Callaway Driver models. The use of A.I. in the design helps to stabilize the head both from a horizontal and rotational perspective, giving you faster ball speeds across more of the face.

Return of A.I. Designed Flash Face

Callaway has continued the use of their A.I Flash Face technology on the Epic Max LS Driver, allowing for higher ball speeds across more area of the club face, resulting in longer, straighter shots, even if they miss the center of the face.

Designed with Fade Bias

The head of the Epic Max LS Driver was designed to be the most fade-cabable driver in the Epic Speed lineup. The external sole weight helps create an ultra-high MOI and low-spin option for low-mid handicappers.

Material Composition Boosts Forgiveness

The Epic Max LS Driver is made of Callaway's proprietary Triaxial carbon, a material that saves 18g of weight against a traditional titanium crown. This extra saved weight gets redistributed deeper into the head, giving you increased ball speeds and more forgiveness.
