Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

The M6 9 degree is Taylormades best to date. Great sound and feel, have gained yards and the twist face has found me more fairways. Can't go wrong with this one!

Nice Upgrade to M2
By Delbert S on 7/2/2019
9 out of 9 people found this review helpful.
Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

More forgiving/longer on off center hits.

Sound is muted compared to M2 and haven't quite gotten used to the sweet spot sound.

Having played several rounds now I am glad I purchased.

A definite upgrade.

Nice
By Jason H. on 2/24/2019

Watched reviews on this club and they were saying the m6 was comparable to the last model. I know I have gained 10-15 yards. Feels good. Expensive but I like it.

Technology / Specs

TaylorMade’s M6 driver is designed to deliver maximum ball speed and forgiveness. Here’s how the company does it.

Speed Injected™

To maximize the ball speed on every M6 driver, TaylorMade inspects each club and injects tuning resin into the bring the COR as close to the USGA limit as possible. Two screws on the face, one low-toe and one low-heel, are the entry point for the resin. COR is the measure of ball speed at different parts of the face. Maximizing the COR creates higher ball speed and distance.

Twist Face™

Twist Face™ technology returns to the M6 driver, delivering straighter shots. The face of the driver is curved to reduce the effect of off-center hits. The high-toe area of the face is curved slightly open with more left. This corrects for a low, hooking shot. Conversely, the low-heel area is curved closed with less loft, correcting a high, slicing shot.

Aerodynamic Carbon Sole with “Inertia Generator”

The sole of the M6 driver has an aerodynamic shape, helping the club pass through the air easier and swing faster.

An Inertia Generator on the sole makes up the majority of the aerodynamic shape and stores 46 grams of weight low and back. Placing that amount of weight on the sole lowers the CG and increases launch angle and MOI.

The sole is also made with 54% more carbon fiber than the M4 driver. Using more carbon fiber let designers place more weight in the Inertia Generator.

Hammerhead 2.0

The Hammerhead 2.0 slot is more flexible than the previous version, increasing the size of the sweet spot.
