The PING Sigma 2 ZB2 Platinum putter gets an updated look to go with the other new features. Read on to find out more about these putters.
Dual-Durometer Face

PING uses 2 layers to make up the dual-durometer face, made out of a material called PEBAX. The outer layer is soft, like a pencil eraser, for a softer feel on short, delicate putts. The inner layer is firmer, like tire tread. This firmer layer gives excellent distance control on longer putts.
Adjustable Shaft

PING first brought an adjustable shaft to the PING Nome model. That iteration had its limitations that the engineers addressed in the Sigma 2 line.
Each putter in the line can be adjusted between 32 inches and 36 inches using system that's built into the shaft. Simply take the tool and turn it left (adding length) or right (shortening length). Each full turn equals 1/4" on length.
TR Technology

The face of the PING Sigma 2 putters have the company's patented TR technology, which stands for "true roll" technology. The grooves are cut to different depths, deeper in the sweet spot and shallower on the heel and toe. This variation of depth gives you more consistent ball speeds, helping mishits go a similar distance as pure strikes.

The PING Sigma 2 ZB2 Platinum putter is a heel-shafted blade, inspired and improved on from the previous version. The Sigma 2 ZB2 has 25% more forgiveness than the prior ZB. The 350-gram head weight give this putter versatility all over the green. The Sigma 2 ZB2 fits strong arc putting stroke.
