Description

The TaylorMade M4 Tour fairway wood has a new 5-layer carbon crown that creates a lower CG and drives higher launch while reducing spin. The ultra-strong Ni-Co 300 steel face insert allows for a thinner, faster face for optimized ball speed while the Fluted Hosel provides superior sound and feel without compromising the CG location. The M4 Tour fairway has a smaller overall shape for a more compact look at address and the sole and leading edge profile provides Tour-inspired workability and versatility from the fairway and difficult lies.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: Moderate face and sole wear; sky-marks, paint chips, paint blemishes, and scratches on the crown; dings and nicks on the crown and/or around the edges of the head; shaft wear.

This product may be an ARP or DEMO club.

Technology / Specs

These features of the TaylorMade M4 Tour fairway wood help you "get there from anywhere."

Speed Pocket and Inverted Cone Technology

The speed pocket on the sole of the TaylorMade M4 Tour fairway wood flexes at impact to deliver greater ball speed and distance. In addition, TaylorMade added Inverted Cone Technology, common their irons, to make the sweet spot bigger.

Geocoustic Technology

Geocoustic technology on the M4 Tour fairway wood improves the club's sound and feel. The area on this version is bigger than previous iterations, creating more discretionary weight that is moved around the head to add forgiveness.

Split Internal Weighting

Ball speed and forgiveness are also increased by Split Internal Weighting. Placing the weights on the outer portion of the clubhead increases the MOI (forgiveness) of the club.

The M4 Tour fairway wood differs from the standard in a couple ways. The head of the M4 Tour is a little smaller than the M4. An 8-gram weight on the sole is also positioned towards the face, producing a more penetrating ball flight.
