Vortec Technology with Tungsten Weight

As in other G400 drivers, the PING G400 SFT driver has a tungsten weight on the sole, boosting MOI and optimizing the CG. The difference in this driver is the location of the weight. On the G400 SFT, the weight sits more towards the heel of the club. This location gives the driver more draw-bias, for those that struggle with that miss. The G400 SFT driver also has a lighter swing weight than the other G400 drivers, further helping the club get square at impact.

The G400 SFT driver shares Vortec technology with the rest of the G400 drivers. This feature improves airflow, reducing drag by 40% mid-downswing and increasing clubhead speed by 15%.

Dragonfly Technology

Dragonfly Technology on the crown takes weight away and relocates that weight around the head to improve forgiveness and optimize the CG location.

Turbulators

Also on the crown are Turbulators. These raised ribs improve areodynamics, helping increase clubhead speed for more distance. They also help frame the ball address, giving you the confidence to know you are aligned properly.

Fast Face and Better Sound

The face of the G400 SFT driver is made of a thin T9S+ forged material. This metal is very strong and the thinness increases ball speed across the whole face. Internal ribs give the club a solid thud sound at impact.
