The PING I200 irons are a player's iron with enough forgiveness to help the occasional mishit users have. The following features give the club its performance.

Face Gives Precise Distance

Compared to the previous i iron, the face of the I200 iron is 30% thinner. This gives the club more ball speed on shots hit across the face, still giving the precision distance gaps between clubs.

More MOI

Beacuse the face is thinner, designers were able to take the saved weight and relocate it on the toe and the hosel. More weight in those areas increases the club's MOI.

Superior Sound and Feel

On the back of the irons, towards the sole, is an elastomer insert that reduces vibrations at impact for a softer feel. A bar, also on the back of the club (the "T" shape), stabalizes the club, delivering a solid feeling.

Improved Sole Design

Proper turf interaction leads to consistent ball striking. The sole on the I200 irons gets a facelift, to improve this interaction. PING added bounce and rounded the leading edge more, helping the club enter and exit the turf better.
