    Description

    The PING iBlade iron is precision cast using 431 stainless steel which offers a high strength to weight ratio and the purest and softest feel Ping engineers have ever achieved. The head design of the iBlade irons features a thinner top rail, minimal offset and delivers the workability and trajectory control that better players demand. A thinner face design provides faster ball speeds and the milled tour-spec grooves and precision-machined fly-cut face yields greater distance and precise control with every shot. The lengths and lofts are optimized to increase distance with proper gapping which results in a player’s style iron with a high MOI and a clean look.

    The PING iBlade irons get their soft feel from 2 things. First, PING uses a soft 431 stainless steel to construct the head.

    Secondly, behind the face is a large, elastomer-filled cavity insert. The insert reduces vibrations on shots hit across the face, boosting feel.

    The iBlade irons have a thin face that produces faster ball speeds that launch high.


    Forgiveness



    Tungsten weight in the toe of the iBlade irons increase the club’s forgiveness. According to PING, the iBlades have 70% more tungsten than the prior generation S55 iron.

    Better bounce and heel relief merge to create a new sole design that helps you shape shots better. The sole design also interacts with the turf better to deliver consistent distances.
