Description

The Nike Vapor Fly Pro irons are designed with professional profiles for enhanced workability. This iron set is split amongst different designs to provide you with the ideal balance in your set. The long irons (2-5) feature a hollow cavity for superior forgiveness, the mid irons (6-8) are designed with a RZN pocket to combine stability with refined feel, and the short irons (9-AW) have a full RZN cavity for shot-making creativity. These irons also feature flexible Nexcor faces and a Flybeam reinforced chassis that work together to deliver fast and consistent ball speeds across a wider area. Additionally, the RZN enhanced construction provides lower and deeper weighting for a higher ball flight. The modern muscle design balances the center of gravity in the center of the club face for the highest stability and purest feel, giving you the confidence to go out and play your best.

Q
what handicap would you reccomend for these?
asked by Matt I. on 1/30/2016
A
With the thin top line, narrow sole width, and shorter blade length, these would be best classified as "players" clubs. With their design, it would be best suited for golfers in the single digit handicap range (0 to 9) or those that consistently hit the center of the club face a large majority of the time.

Great Irons

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

The ball flies off of these irons! Averaging 225 yards off the tee with my 5 iron. I was looking for a little more forgiveness than my old Vapor Pro Combos and I found it. Mishits are forgiven but when the ball finds the sweet spot the sound and feel are amazing. I am also able to shape the ball flight very well with these irons as well.

I ordered mine custom with KBS Tour Shaft (Free Upgrade) and the Blue Z-Grip (Free Upgrade).

After 54 holes of use there are some signs of paint wear on the soles - mostly from contact with debris/soil but it hasn't impacted the integrity of the club.

The NIKE Vapor Fly Pro Irons

The NIKE Vapor Fly Pro Irons offer forgiveness due to a balanced CG and a lightweight construction. Its Modern Muscle technology creates consistent performance and shotmaking by balancing the CG in the center of the club’s head. A Lightweight RZN material distributes the mass lower and deeper for higher ball flight. A flexible Nexcor face and a stiffened Fly-Beam chassis increase ball speed and create more consistent shots.

The long irons (2, 3, 4, 5) have a hollow-bodied RZN cavity, metalwood-style construction and FlyBeam reinforcement for more distance and forgiveness. The mid irons (6, 7, 8) have a RZN pocket, a lightweight material that redistributes weight. The short irons (9, P, A) are also constructed out of RZN in the cavity for creative shotmaking.
