Description

The TaylorMade AeroBurner iron features a new performance package where playability meets explosive distance. The up-to-the-limit COR face design along with the Speed Pocket allows for high launch and increased ball speed, even on low face mis-hits. The AeroBurner has a high MOI head design that provides forgiveness and their optimized lofts and CG placements allow for consistent shot making. The longer blade length, more offset, thicker top line and dark, matte finish give golfers maximum confidence at address.

Q
what are the best clubs for over 65
asked by Abraham T. on 4/5/2016
A
There is not a definite answer based on the information that was provided. Someone that is 65 years old can be a single digit handicap or not be able to break 100. It will also depend on swing-speed. Generally speaking, based strictly on the age you provided, I would recommend a graphite shaft most likely. I would highly recommend being fit by a PGA Professional to make sure you are choosing the correct product.

Q
what is the difference in standard and senior flex
asked by Thomas R. on 6/18/2016
A
A senior flex will be more flexible and is better suited for a slower swing-speed player. Generally speaking a senior flex is the proper flex for a golfer with a driver swing-speed between 75-85 mph. A regular flex is good for someone with a swing-speed between 85-95 mph and a stiff flex is good for someone above 95 mph.

Q
I recently purchased a set of Aeroburners with the high launch shaft..The four thru 7 irons have a black stripe ingrained in the bottom of the club, while the 8 thru aw does not have the black stripe...Why is this?
asked by Robert W. on 1/3/2019
A
The black speed slot is only on the bottom of the 4 through 7 irons as it provides extra forgiveness and distance. The short irons do not have it so that you get more feel and control. That is the intended design of the set.

Great clubs for distance and forgiveness I have 6 iron thru A wedge. The 6 iron is a strong 5 iron, and the PW is a traditional 9, but so what? They are easy to hit with good gaps, the longest irons I have owned.

Handicap: 21+  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

After a fitting, cause i don't have a right feeling with my starting set, my coach suggest to take a graphite shaft cause my speed is quite low. I try the aeroburner in a showcase, and i love them so far. But they was soooo expansive. I buy here and i spend 200€ less than in any other eu store, with my grips as well. I took 5\PW and every single club are fantastic. Long, straight, loud, easy to hit. I'm very glad for that. Now my speed are increased and i'm thinking to change the shaft, maybe a light steel or a regular soft steel, i don't know yet, but i'm NOT thinking to change this amazing set.

Bought a value set of theses irons. Very nice condition. Couple minor stone chips otherwise great condition. Solid set, nice launch, decent feel. Global Golf was fantastic with a recent return. Ended up replacing those irons with these. Thanks so much.
