Description

The Ping G30 iron set offers progressive lengths and lofts and a thin face that will help you launch the ball high yet significantly farther, while still providing the added control you need to consistently attack the flag. Faster ball speeds are provided by a Custom Tuning Port that sits very low and supports a thin face. The low-back center of gravity optimizes launch and forgiveness while ensuring a solid feel. Slightly longer heads also boost the moment of inertia, and a new sole design ensures solid contact.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Q
What are the differences between the Ping G30 and the Gmax?
asked by Kenneth L. on 4/12/2017
A
The Gmax is an updated version that features Ping's new Core-Eye Technology, allowing increased face flexing for faster ball speeds, more forgiveness, and extra distance. They also have a slightly wider sole helping to lower the CG for more forgiveness.

Q
What is the difference between senior shaft and regular shaft?
asked by George W. on 8/10/2017
A
Senior flex is meant for slower swing speeds below 85mph. It flexes easier providing more distance at slower swing speeds.

Q
What is difference between reg shaft and stiff shaft?
asked by George W. on 8/11/2017
A
A regular shaft is typically best for those with a driver club head speed of 85-95 mph while stiff is for 95-105 mph clubhead speed. It has to do with how easily the shaft bends, or flexes during the swing.

PING G30 IRONS
By Peter D on 11/21/2017

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I was looking for a new set of Ping G30 irons, but couldn't justify paying $500+ for a new set. Purchased in very good condition and the clubs look barely used. The irons look like the were used only a few rounds. Extremely pleased and saved over $200.

Ping G30 Irons

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I wanted to replace my old irons. My playing partner had these irons and I hit some shots with them. Then I purchased a set. I went from regular flex to soft regular(Ping). My shots are more on line and better distance. They have made a difference in my game. Glad I changed.

Best irons I have ever had

Hands some of the best irons I have ever had. Miss center hits still have good results. Had to get used to the loft changes. Long with all irons through the entire range and hold the greens excellent.

Not what I expected

I got **** for these and ordered them from Global Golf, yellow dot, graphite regular flex. I was unsatisfied with their performance. Clunky feeling, too low launch angle, could not get the ball up. I sold them. I went with a set of Taylormade SpeedBlades steel shafts and love them. So much better to launch. I know another golf friend who got rid of his G30s too after buying them. I would not recommend these G30s. rt

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
