Description

The Taylormade SLDR S Fairway wood features a stainless steel head with new cut-through Speed Pocket design that flexes with more efficiency and allows for a forward, low center of gravity, resulting in lower spin and increased ball speeds across the entire face. The SLDR S Fairway wood also features the new open channel speed pocket technology which improves speed with reduced turf resistance. The Satin silver crown with black button-back promotes easy alignment as well.

Q
Please could you let me know what the difference is between " stiff flex " and "senior flex " on the fairway woods.
asked by David J. on 1/4/2016
A
A stiff flex is generally for a golfer that has a swing-speed between 95-105 mph with their driver. A senior flex is generally for a golfer that has a swing-speed between 75-85 mph with their driver.

Great club

First club I've ever bought on this site. My expectations were not too high but I bought this in very good condition and it was practically new. I would recommend anyone wanting a good set of clubs to buy them here.

I bought this club in value condition and it looks brand new and it's the best 3 wood I've ever hit.

This club is great. It's great for controlled tee shots or shorter par 4s and easy to hit off the deck.

Solid wood as always from Taylormade

Nice little fairway wood here. The SLDR line is pretty much dead but not quite buried yet. People have to remember that these were TOP OF THE LINE Taylormade clubs a year ago and now they are all on clearance. So if you're on a budget now is the time to pick one up.

They have all the usual playability of a Taylormade wood. Huge sweet spot, very forgiving and they actually cut through lite rough quite well. They are set up to draw a little through some offset but it is nothing too drastic.

Definitely a great fairway wood for anyone who doesn't want to pay $200+ for the new top of the line stuff.

Purchased excellent condition club, it looked unused and still had the original TaylorMade stickers attached. Amazing off the tee and from the fairway. Everything I needed in a 3 wood.

These are your Utry selections. Only Utry eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our Utry golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club or $100 an iron set. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. Utry lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club or 1 iron set for $100.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

Utry gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
