Description

The Ping i20 iron has optimized performance in these multi-metal irons through a progressive set design. Forgiving, high-launching long irons blend into more-penetrating mid- and –short irons offering control for precise shot making. A dense tungsten toe weight provides forgiveness across the face for accurate results and a high-launch, low-spin trajectory. Distance control and a solid feel come from a thicker hitting area and stabilizing bars in the cavity. A low MOI about the shaft axis gives golfers the ability to shape shots with confidence. The non-glare chrome finish and black-and-silver color scheme offer a players’-style contemporary look.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Can you bend this set of pings from purple lie to .5 upright lie? If so what is the charge? Thanks Jim Burgess
asked by Jim B. on 11/18/2016
A
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer bending for iron sets. You can send the irons to Ping to be bent for a nominal fee to them.

Pure ping swing

All of pings irons year after year have catered to my game because the forgiving high ball flight and increased distance I truly enjoyed with my G10 irons has me curious...two part questions, what are the differences between the G20 and G25 as well as the i20 and i25? Meaning what’s so much better about the 25 compared to the 20 with the G and the I series because I’m going to get one of those four choices and hope that my questions are worthy of a specific point or will I regret the standard generalizations I’ve already listened to so far. Help me spend my $ Ping please.

Best irons I have ever hit. My old irons were PING Eye 2's. I have gained both distance and accuracy.

Forgiving!

I have only been playing golf for two years and the I20's help make me better every time I step to the course.

Ping has loaded these clubs with plenty of tech to help a high capper, but put them in a player-esque design that is pleasing to the eye at address. Medium top lines and a beautiful satin finish are the high points.

If you need the forgiveness, these clubs have it. They will keep all but your shots more or less on line and hold distance while at the same time gently letting you know that you have miss hit the iron. Flush shots are smooth and feel like a firm forged club.

Stock CFS shafts play about half a flex light to TT DG's, but still provide a medium true flight and decent spin.

Great irons for all ranges of players. Best for those that want more of a players profile, with a bit of help. While they are plenty long, they are not distance irons and hold true to current standard lofting profiles.

Ping i20s

Solid irons. Wanted to upgrade from my eye2s to a modern club without spending a 1000 bucks. As easy to hit as eye2s with more distance. Especially in the long irons.
