The Ping i15 irons are mid-sized and made from stainless steel with a tungsten toe insert that adds forgiveness. They each feature a new Custom Tuning Port (CTP) with stabilizing bars creating the feel and sound attributes that better players prefer. Created as a progressive set for the player who demands control and the ability to play a variety of shots, the longer irons are larger for more forgiveness, while the mid and short irons are smaller to increase shot-making ability and control on approach shots.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

These are simply the best if you like a smaller iron.

My favorite Ping Irons

I have tried the i10's, S58, S56, and i3+. While all of these sets have their positive aspects, none to me offer the complete package of workability and forgiveness that I look for in an iron. The i15 head is slightly larger than the others mentioned yet not too big and it is easy to work the ball left or right. Easy to hit solid.

Not the best pings

However, that is not saying much. They are long but not as forgiving as the i20's.

Ping i15 irons

I got a set of i15 irons in 2011 and still love them. I am able to work the ball easily and yet they are still forgiving. My miss hits tend to be out on the toe a bit and they don't seem to lose much distance. Great feel and ball flight.

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
