The Ping G10 irons each feature an oversized, deep cavity back that allows more weight to be moved to the lower edge of the toe and perimeter for a higher MOI. Its wide sole design provides more forgiveness through impact and assists in creating a higher launch angle. Each iron also features a new Custom Tuning Port that stabilizes the hitting area, producing consistent ball speeds across the entire face. Its progressive offset allows for maximum confidence on long irons and inspires a go-for-the-pin attitude in the short irons.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Left Hand

Have been playing 'players' irons for over a decade: forged blades for years, then Ping S55s more recently. I have always enjoyed feel and workability, so I've probably (see: definitely) used irons that were a little too advanced for a player like me (mid-handicap).
Lately my ball striking has become so erratic Ive had to search for a solution. These irons are that solution. Though the sole on these irons is as wide as a hybrid, or nearly so, the view at address isn't nearly so 'game improvement'. I'm certainly not able to work the ball nearly as much, but I'm averaging about 10 yards longer with each club, and the forgiveness (even though these clubs aren't the latest technology) is remarkable. The added distance, tight shot dispersion, and almost unfair forgiveness began to pay dividends from the moment these irons found there way into my bag. The size & the offset are still something I'm getting used to, but the point and shoot capability of these clubs really inspires confidence in my iron play. I expect my G.I.R. stats to improve drastically moving forward, and my stubborn handicap to finally start shrinking. Thanks Ping!!
