This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Which club are you referring to when under the "length" product detail on these irons. I'm trying to get an inch longer than the clubs I have. You should put the number next to the length in your descriptions. Would help a lot.
asked by Edward B. on 3/6/2017
The displayed length is the length of the 6 iron.

Are the ping eye 2 as forgiving and as long as the Isi-k irons
asked by James G. on 3/7/2017
The ISI-K was a later club and is more forgiving than the Eye 2 was.

great irons

I played with these irons for about 12 yrs. and still got a good amount on trade with Global Golf. Now that I mention it, why did I ever trade them in the first place. Long, forgiving and smooth; these Eye 2's are a great quality iron. If the allure of new pings wasn't too great, I'd still be shooting these.

Still some of the best

I have played these for clubs for about 25 years. Many times I have looked into getting new irons to update my equipment. After trying various demo clubs over the years I have always concluded that my Pings were at least as good as the demos I tried. I am once again looking into updating my equipment, and who knows maybe this time I will find some clubs I feel are better?

Hard to beat these classics.

I've had more than 25 different sets of irons during the last few years. I still keep going back to these and keep selling the other stuff that I bought and used only a few weeks. The Callaway x-14's were pretty good, but the Eye2's still rule in my bag.

Nostalgic and a solid vlaue

So there is newer and better technology out there... these clubs are classics. Moved on from a full set of them only because of the crazy offset on them ( a love or hate thing depending on the golfer.) If you like offset these clubs are for you, especially if you are a beginner- although I've seen low handicappers still game these. Kept the one iron to use every now and then for fun- and to remember all the par 5s I went for in 2 with it.

Oldies but goodies
By Mike on 12/29/2016

When I was growing up, I always admired Ping Eye 2s and wished I had a set.

Many, many years later...I now do.

I had to make a couple of separate orders to put together a complete set of used irons (while a black dot 3-PW set was available, I had to find irons and SW/LW separately), but I'm very pleased with the state of the "value" clubs that I got. There is some definite wear to the club heads themselves, but the faces were in good shape for 30+ year old clubs, I thought. I hit a couple on the range the other day and man, hitting these Ping Eye 2s is so much fun.

I'm pleased with the purchase of these used irons.
