Pro Tip: Draw Your Ball With TaylorMade D-Type Drivers and D-Type Fairway Woods

Updated: Jun 15, 2021
Pro Tip Draw Your Golf Ball with D-Type

The TaylorMade M6 D-Type golf clubs are here to help with an all too common problem -- the slice. As a golfer, there’s a high likelihood that at some point in your golfing career, you have struggled with a slice -- or still do. TaylorMade Golf knows this and wants to help you end the painful suffering of watching your ball radically arc across the sky. Your longest, and most wily, clubs in your bag can now help you fix your slice -- the TaylorMade M6 D-Type fairway wood and driver. Pro Tip #49: Get a driver that promotes a draw to kill your slice.

TaylorMade M6 D-Type Driver

The TaylorMade M6 D-Type driver uses all of the same advanced golf technology in the regular M6 but with a couple wrinkles to help those slicers among us. The overall appearance of the M6 D-Type driver’s two-tone crown has been altered to make the face angle appear more open, resulting in a more closed face at impact. Also helping close the face at impact is repositioned weight toward the heel to produce a draw bias. By increasing your ability to draw, these TaylorMade drivers will fix your slice in no time.

Similar to the TaylorMade M6 D-Type driver is its smaller sibling the D-Type fairway wood. Built with all the golf club tech wizardry as the standard TaylorMade M6 model, the D-Type fairway wood contains the speed foam-injected TwistFace to help golfers draw the ball a bit more than the standard clubhead. The adjusted internal weighting in the TaylorMade M6 D-Type fairway wood creates the draw-biased design.

Now, through GlobalGolf’s UTry® Program, you can try before you buy and start cutting down on that slice with the TaylorMade M6 D-Type fairway wood. GlobalGolf’s UTry® Program is the simplest and safest way to demo golf products -- from current and prior season golf clubs to GPS and rangefinders. Starting at just $25 for 14 days, you can demo golf clubs and accessories where, when and how you want. Because as Pro Tip #1 reminds us: you should never buy clubs -- or any golf equipment, for that matter -- that you don't absolutely love.
