Description

Titleist GT Metals feature the most advanced drivers in the company's history to date. Through a combination of ultra-light materials, refined aerodynamics and Split Mass Construction, Titleist has produced a driver line that is faster, longer, straighter and more forgiving. GT4 is for players who want low spin and penetrating ball flight. The dual-spin control settings let players adjust the 11g and 3g weights on the sole to aggressively reduce spin or find a balance between stability and moderate spin reduction. The ultralight crown is constructed a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer that allows for an optimal internal weight position. The weight savings from the ultralight material pushes more mass to the front of the club to improve speed and increase MOI.

Seamless Thermoform Crown

Features an ultra-lightweight crown made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. The material, never used previously in golf clubhead design, afforded Titleist engineers unprecedented design solutions regarding internal weight positioning, unlocking gains across multiple categories of driver performance. The crown is wrapped to the sole using an advanced thermoforming process, resulting in a clean look with no visible seam or transition between material.

Improvements to internal construction and weight distribution have allowed greater optimization of aerodynamics, a breakthrough that was previously impossible to execute due to design constraints. The GT4 features refined profiles that help reduce drag and increase clubhead speed.

Mass was strategically pushed both towards the front of the club, unlocking greater speed through CG placement, and towards the rear, offering stable, high-MOI performance. CG placement varies, giving players the opportunity to find the right combination of speed, launch angle and spin for their games with unique setups

Exceptional Low-spin Performance

GT4 is designed for players looking to eliminate sub-optimal spin rates – usually over 3,000 RPMs – to create a more penetrating and efficient ball flight. GT4’s dual-spin control settings allow golfers to choose between more aggressive spin reduction or a more balanced and stable setting with more moderate spin reduction. This is accomplished by flipping a heavier (11 gram) and lighter (3 gram) weight between two positions. GT4 also has a smaller profile than the GT2 and GT3 models at 430cc.
