The precision and stability its predecessors were famous for is maintained with an even thicker build behind impact to provide an enhanced, softer feel. The tour refined short irons are made for smoother turf interaction.The new Mizuno Pro 221 Irons is crafted to be more playable with an iconic muscleback design. The irons are expertly beveled for a shorter face profile and narrower top line without sacrificing mass in the upper blade. A microlayer of copper is built underneath the Nickel Chrome top to bring you the purest and softest feel. The Pro 221 features Mizunos shortest CG/shaft axis and is consistent throughout the set to allow better control of fades and draws. These irons are evolved to be more playable through a process of incremental refinements in shape and weight placement.
