Description

The RADSPEED XD Driver features an oversized head shape and heel-biased internal Radial Weighting for the fastest and straightest ball flight with maximum slice-reducing capability. The heel-biased Radial Weighting system places a 10g weight in the heel, making it easier to close the face for straighter, more draw biased drives. The new Carbon Wrap Crown system is 30% thinner to create extra weight that can be repositioned to optimize swing performance. A refined T-Bar Speed Chassis is lighter and allows for even more redistributed weight towards the front in order to decrease spin and increase ball speed. An infinity edge CNC Milled face expands the milled area by 95%, increasing the zone of maximum ball speed.

Features

  • Radial Weighting – Strategic placement of weight optimizes speed, forgiveness, and flight direction. By increasing the distance between the front and back weights, Cobra created a radical combination of ultra low spin, extreme ball speed and forgiveness.
  • Heel-Biased Weighting – 10g weight positioned in the heel for easier face closure and creating straighter ball flights. 14g weight is placed in the back while another 8g are placed in the front to increase speed and forgiveness.
  • Thin-Ply Carbon Crown – New carbon fiber material is 30% thinner, allowing the weight to be repositioned to optimize performance.
  • Lighter T-Bar Chassis – Refined T-Bar Speed Chassis design is 7g lighter for more discretionary weight distribution options.
  • CNC Infinity Face – Infinity edge face design expands the milled area by 95% to increase the zone of maximum ball speed.

I love this driver. I had traded my Cobra F9 in for a TaylorMade Sim Max.
It was a decent trade as I picked up a few yards and the Sim Max was
slightly more forgiving. It just never felt as good as my Cobra.Now that I've gone to this Rad Speed, I am longer than the Sim Max, Have more Forgiveness, AND------Best of All---
I've got that great Cobra Feel back in my bag.

This driver is long, light and forgiving. The adjustability is a real plus. Not all my shots have been satisfactory but that has nothing to do with the club. I think it is as good as any driver out there and I have tried many.

I have the older Rad speed black/red driver. I recently purchased this Rad Speed XD black/turbo yellow. It is awesome. AT LEAST 20+ more yards. I am extremely satisfied with this club. I have used Callaway in the past, Cobra is the way to go, in my opinion.

The frame of the RADSPEED XD Driver features 10g of weight positioned toward the heel, allowing you to produce a more square face at impact for straighter ball flights. There is also an additional 14g of weight in the back and 8g in the front, further giving you longer and more accurate ball flights.

Thin Carbon Wrap Promotes Speed

The RADSPEED XD Driver is constructed using a thin carbon wrapped crown, which comes in at around 30% thinner than previous driver crowns. This new crown also creates 6g of extra weight that can be fine tuned to fit your swing.

The frame of the new RADSPEED XD Driver is 7 grams lighter than previous frames, allowing for more weight to be positioned towards the heel for incredible draw bias.
