A new Forged Ring Construction delivers a new dimension of distance and forgiveness. Lightweight, high strength aluminum is milled to unite a massive rear weight, a full carbon sole, crown and new milled back cup face. The SIM Inertia Generator is asymmetrically designed to provide faster club head speeds through advanced geometry and aerodynamic analysis. A lightweight carbon sole allows for redistributed mass for deeper CG with enhanced forgiveness.

    Reinventing the Construction of the Driver

    The new SIM2 Max Driver by Taylormade builds off fundamental changes to the driver made by the original SIM, while still showcasing new features, such as the Forged Ring Construction and Split Mass Weighting, that make SIM2 Max the ideal combination of speed and forgiveness.

    The New Key to Distance and Forgiveness

    The Sole of the SIM2 Max Driver features Taylormade's new Forged Ring Construction. The introduction of the Forged Ring allowed Taylormade to focus more on increasing forgiveness and stability on every tee shot. This lightweight and strong aluminum piece also binds the rear weight, crown, carbon sole, and milled back cup face together.

    Interia Generator Raises Ball Speed

    The Forged Ring on the SIM2 Max Driver features the SIM Interia Generator. This technology helps move the CG of the Driver to be lower and deeper in the head, which in turn increases forgiveness and ball speed.

    Return of Twist Face

    One of the main components that Taylormade brought from SIM to SIM2 Max is the Twist Face Technology with Speed Injection. The Speed Injection technology individually calibrates each head to reach the max legal ball speed limit, helping you gain the extra yards off the tee, while the Twist Face gives the Driver face a slight curve on the outer edges, helping to straighten up heel and toe shots.
