Technology / Specs

Titleist TS1 Driver

TS1 Ultra-lightweight Configuration

Every component of the Titleist TS1 driver is lighter. Overall, the club weighs 275 grams (shaft dependent). That's 45 grams lighter than the TS2. The light weight makes it easier to swing faster.

Breaking it down:

  • Club head is 8 grams lighter
  • Stock shafts are 40 and 45 grams
  • Stock Golf Pride grip is 32 grams

TS1 Technology and Performance

The TS1 has similar technology features as the other drivers in the TS family, just lighter.

The crown and face are made ultra thin. A thin crown redistributes weight low and back, producing the ideal launch and spin for swing speeds under 85 mph.

Titleist's thin Radial VFT (variable face thickness), increases ball speed across all parts of the club face. Every driver goes through Characteristic Time (CT) inspection to ensure it's at the maximum allowable limit. CT measures the spring effect of the ball off the face. The closer the CT to the legal limit, the more ball speed and distance is produced.

The final piece of speed comes from the streamlined shape. The aerodynamic design increases clubhead speed by reducing drag.

Stock Shafts

There are 2 stock shafts to choose from industry heavy weights Fujikura and Mitsubishi Chemical

The Fujikura Air Speeder is a high launch, mid-high spin shaft. All flexes, besides ladies (R3) weigh 40 grams. The R3 is 35 grams.

The Mitsubishi Fubuki MV is a mid-high launch shaft with mid spin. Stiff, regular, and senior flex shafts are 45 grams. Ladies flex is 39 grams.

These are your Utry selections. Only Utry eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our Utry golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club or $100 an iron set. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. Utry lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club or 1 iron set for $100.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

Utry gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
