Technology / Specs
Mizuno ST190 TS fairway woods deliver ball speed, distance, and forgiveness through several features. Learn about each feature here.
H1770 Maraging Steel Face
The face of the Mizuno ST190 TS fairway wood has a deeper (taller face) than before. More clubface surface area means added flexing, similar to a driver. This flexing increases the energy transferred to the golf ball, adding distance.
Mizuno designers are able to increase the flexing thanks to the use of a high-strength H1770 Maraging Steel. The steel varies in thickness to deliver more ball speed across the face. The bigger face also increases forgiveness, giving more area to hit and still get exceptional performance.
Carbon Composite Crown
Mizuno uses a super light Carbon Composite Crown on the ST190 TS fairway woods to redistribute 4 grams of weight. Moving the weight optimizes the CG location, lowering spin and ball flight despite the deeper face.
Amplified Wave Sole
On the sole of the ST190 TS fairway woods, Mizuno updated the Amplified Wave Sole. This latest version has a bigger first “wave" behind the face that makes the sweet spot bigger and the club more stable overall.
Adjustability
Mizuno adds and adjustable hosel to the ST190 TS fairway wood. There are 4 total degrees of adjustment, +/- 2 degrees, as well as different lie angle settings.
