Description

The new Odyssey Stroke Lab putters incorporate a unique new method of weight distribution designed to improve the stroke with the innovative new multi-material shaft design. The Stroke Lab shaft combines a graphite body with a steel tip making it a full 40 grams lighter and netting out at just 75g, with most of the mass concentrated in the tip. The saved weight has been redistributed into each end of the putter to help golfers consistently repeat a smoother and more accurate stroke while the White Hot Microhinge Face promotes topspin for smooth roll and acute distance control.

Features

  • Tip-heavy graphite and steel shaft saves 40 grams* that’s relocated into each end of the putter to change performance dynamics
  • The Stroke Lab shaft is slightly stiffer with lower torque to better control the slightly heavier head
  • Additional weight in the sole and butt-end of the grip helps golfers consistently repeat a smoother and more accurate stroke
  • White Hot Microhinge Face Insert that promotes topspin for smooth roll and acute distance control
  • No offset
  • 9° toe hang

Technology / Specs

Odyssey Stroke Lab putters take putter design to the next level, all to help golfers hit more consistent putts. Keep reading to learn about the new features

Stroke Lab Shaft

Performance in the Stroke Lab putters starts with the shaft. The new Stroke Lab shaft is made with both graphite and steel, saving 40 grams of weight.

The graphite part of the shaft promotes a smooth, repeatable, consistent putting stroke from beginning to end. The steel-tipped shaft reduces torque at impact, helping golfers hit straighter putts more often.

Sole and Grip Weight

Odyssey moves the weight saved from the new shaft to both ends of the putter; 30 grams to the grip and 10 grams to the head in the form of sole weights. A heavier grip quiets the hands for a fluid putting stroke. The sole weights give the putter a solid, stable feel at impact.

White Hot Microhinge Face Insert

For a soft, responsive feel, Odyssey puts the White Hot Microhinge Face insert in the Stroke Lab putters. White Hot inserts have long been renowned for their soft feel, dating back to the early 2000s. Pairing with that is the Microhinge technology. Several small hinges impart topspin on the golf ball at impact for a quicker, truer roll which helps putts get and stay on line. Simply, it means holing more putts.
