The King F9 SpeedBack irons are a combination of tungsten weighting and innovative shaping to deliver the most powerful and stable COBRA iron. In addition, features a 3 piece multi-material medallion design that contains aluminum, TPU, and acrylic foam damps vibrations to promote a softer, more responsive feel. These irons are forged E9 Pwrshell™ Face Technology that offers a thicker face design that’ll expand the sweet zone for a higher launch and faster ball speeds across a larger area on the face.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Is this a full set of irons or just 3 clubs as stated in club description box?
asked by Eddie G. on 7/7/2021
The way the listings work, all irons in between the two separated by a dash are included. In other words, 6-PW,AW would include the 6,7,8,9,PW, and AW.

do these come with cobra connect.
asked by Heather N. on 9/7/2021
Unfortunately, due to the size of our inventory, we are unable to verify if a used set has the Connect grips on it.

Cobra King F9 Speedbacks I love them

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

Prior to this purchase (4-GW), I would never have believed that the clubs made that big a difference in my game. However, my results speak for themselves. I also use the Cobra King F9 driver. The clubs have a very nice feel and sound. I turn 69 in July. And no, I am not your usual senior citizen (personal trainer).

With my old clubs I hit my GW about 105 yds. With my F9s, about 130 - 135.

I hit my PW about 120 yds, but with the F9, about 140 - 145.

The increases follow for all my clubs. I am thoroughly impressed.

The guys I play with are very interested in the King Cobra F9s.

These Cobra King F9 irons were my second purchase of Certified Clubs offered from Global Golf. These irons were in perfect (like new) condition. These irons feel great and are long and very accurate. Buy Certified and save $$$$.

Underrated Irons

These F9's are amazing irons. The tech just works! I though my Ap1 714 were the best irons I have ever used in my life. While they are amazing, the F9 just blows them out of the water. Feel is amazing, you can feel the ball pop off the face, distance is plenty with these, consistency, looks and forgiveness is high on bad shots, all boxes ticked. I don't like the chrome though but other than that, these are amazing irons!

Cobra King F9 Speedback Irons Overview

Back of iron head

Speedback Design

The speedback design adds mass to the lower and wider parts of the club, lowering CG and allowing players to maximize ball speed while still having a conventional size sole width.

inside and back of iron head removed

Multi-Materail Medallion

The three materials in the speedback iron medallions are aluminum, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and acrylic foam. All three materials are lightweight and act as dampeners to the vibrations the club gives off at the striking point, making these clubs have a responsive feel to them that players want.

Progressive groove shaping

Spin Technology

In the longer irons (4-7), v-shaped grooves were milled into the face to create less spin for more distance and flight time. In the shorter irons (8-PW), u-shaped grooves were milled into the face for optimized spin for improved control and accuracy. In the wedges (GW-SW), tightly spaced u-shape grooves were milled for extra spin and precision around the green.

Progressive hosel length and shape

Hosel Length

The CG is lowered in the long irons (4-6) for extra launch and distance with those clubs. In the 7-9 irons, a slightly longer hosel promotes a bit less launch and lowers the CG some. The wedges have the longest hosel's, raising the CG up the most giving those clubs more accuracy than the other irons.
