Description

The King F9 SpeedBack fairways are re-engineered with BAFFLER® rails and a low back tungsten weight that optimize turf interaction. As well as a lower CG for an improved launch and faster clubhead speed from any lie. This club is also golf’s first fairway that features a CNC milled face, which contains a forged and precision milled 475 stainless steel face insert.

The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: Normal ball marks and scratching on the face; normal scratching on the sole; minor dings and nicks on the crown and/or around the edges of the head; very light scratches, paint chips, paint blemishes on or around the crown.

Baffler Speedback™ Technology



This feature pairs Cobra’s famous Baffler rail system with the all-new Speedback™ design. The Baffler rail system is a pair of bars on the sole. The bars improve turf interaction, letting the club enter and exit the ground faster. A tungsten weight near the back lowers CG for easy launch. Speedback™ technology rounds the crown and leading edges and raises the skirt on the back of the club, improving aerodynamics for faster clubhead speeds.


CNC Precision Milled Face



For the first time, Cobra expands its CNC Precision Milled Face to the fairway woods. The face is made with a piece of 455 stainless steel that’s precision milled and forged. The manufacturing process ensures each head is consistently thin and extremely hot.


360 Aero™ and Ultralight Carbon Fiber Crown



The crown of the KING F9 Speedback™ fairway wood has 360 Aero™ trips and an ultralight carbon crown. The 360 Aero™ trips are polymer ridges on the crown and sole of the club that reduce drag for faster clubhead speeds.

The ultralight carbon crown helps lower the CG by 10%, creating ideal launch angle and spin rates.


MyFly8® with Smart Rail™



The new MyFly8® hosel adapter easily adjust the loft to 1 of 8 different settings. The Smart Rail™ keeps the face square at address regardless of the loft setting.
