Description

The King F9 SpeedBack fairways are re-engineered with BAFFLER® rails and a low back tungsten weight that optimize turf interaction. As well as a lower CG for an improved launch and faster clubhead speed from any lie. This club is also golf’s first fairway that features a CNC milled face, which contains a forged and precision milled 475 stainless steel face insert.

First CNC Milled Fairway

Cobra has put its first ever CNC milled face for a thin, precise face. The face is 5 times more precise because of the CNC milling, which controls face thickness and curvatures creating consistent performance across each fairway.

E9 Face

A variable thickness structure exapnds the "sweet spot" to range from the low heel to the high toe areas of the club face. This technology allows players off center strikes to still have excellerated ball speeds and good flight shape.

Dual Roll inserts and E9 face technology produce consistent ball speeds, launch angles and spin. The Speedback Fairway's face has 3 components; the Top Roll Curvature, the 7-degree axis tilt in the middle, and the Bottom Roll Curvature.

Baffler Speedback

CG is lowered and moved further back into the clubhead with the addition of a 15 gram tungsten weight. The weight increases trajectory levels, and can be replaced with lighter or heavier weights to customize the club to each specific golfer.

Rail Design

The lower lofted fairway woods feature shallower rails to accomodate the sweeping attack angle players take towards the ball, easily allowing the clubhead to glide through tougher lies and the rough. Medium rails on the mid lofts act as a middle ground for both shallow and steep attack angles while still reducing "digging" the club into the ground.

Carbon Fiber Crown

Weight is saved with the addition of the lightweight carbonfiber crown. The clubs CG is lower and deeper due to the reduced weight up top, allowing the club to launch the ball high in the air with less spin.
