Description

The Callaway Apex Pro 19 iron is Callaway’s first ever Tour performance iron with advanced distance technologies for better players who want all the benefits of a Tour-level design without sacrificing ball speed or distance. Extremely soft feel comes from a forged 1025 mild carbon steel body with urethane microspheres that absorb unwanted vibration without slowing the face. The 360 Face Cup promotes high ball speeds across the face for long, consistent distance in the long and mid irons while the spin control VFT Face in the short irons allow for aggressive shot-making. To further enhance the level of scoring performance and shot-making that the pros demand, an average of 50 grams of Tungsten has been infused into each iron for exceptional ball flight and pinpoint control. All of this innovative performance technology is crafted into a premium design with beautiful progressive shaping and a classic Apex finish.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

beautiful, amazing feeling clubs

These weren't the clubs for me in the end but if you're a mid-tempo swinger who wants a players' club, these are hard to beat. Butter feeling, beautiful chrome-appointed heads are very fun to play. And, globalgolf.ca service is fantastic!

Technology / Specs

The Callaway Apex Pro 19 irons pack the performance features of the Apex 19 irons into a more compact package that better players prefer. Here’s a closer look at those features.

Forged Carbon Steel Body

To give the Apex Pro 19 irons incredibly soft feel, Callaway made the body out of a forged 1025 mild carbon steel. The softer feel is similar to what you might expect from a forged muscle back or split cavity iron. Using that particular steel also produces a solid sound at impact.

360 Face Cup

Apex Pro 19 irons also have 360 Face Cup technology. To explain, the face forms a cup around the perimeter, creating a flexible rim that flexes at impact. This rim increases ball speed and distance across the face.

Urethane Microspheres

Further adding to the feel of the Apex Pro 19 irons is a layer of Urethane Microspheres, placed behind the face. This material has over one million air pockets, absorbing vibrations without affecting ball speed.

MIM’d Tungsten Weight

Each Apex Pro 19 iron has a MIM’d tungsten weight (metal injected molded), inside, near the toe of the club. Callaway uses a combination of steel and tungsten, unique to each club in the set. An Apex Pro 19 iron has on average of 50 grams of tungsten. The weight optimizes the CG location for ideal launch conditions. It also helps with forgiveness, adding weight to the perimeter.
