Description

The TaylorMade M6 drivers are speed injected to maximize ball speed and distance in the driver. Also features a revolutionary twist face curve that provides more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low-heel to produce more of a consistent spin.

M6 Driver Overview

Speed Injected

To maximize the ball speed on every M6 driver, TaylorMade inspects each club and injects tuning resin into the bring the COR as close to the USGA limit as possible. Two screws on the face, one low-toe and one low-heel, are the entry point for the resin. COR is the measure of ball speed at different parts of the face. Maximizing the COR creates higher ball speed and distance.

Twist Face

Twist Face™ technology returns to the M6 driver, delivering straighter shots. The face of the driver is curved to reduce the effect of off-center hits. The high-toe area of the face is curved slightly open with more left. This corrects for a low, hooking shot. Conversely, the low-heel area is curved closed with less loft, correcting a high, slicing shot.

Aerodynamic Carbon Sole

The sole of the M6 driver has an aerodynamic shape, helping the club pass through the air easier and swing faster. An Inertia Generator on the sole makes up the majority of the aerodynamic shape and stores 46 grams of weight low and back. Placing that amount of weight on the sole lowers the CG and increases launch angle and MOI. The sole is also made with 54% more carbon fiber than the M4 driver. Using more carbon fiber let designers place more weight in the Inertia Generator.

The Hammerhead 2.0 slot is more flexible than the previous version, increasing the size of the sweet spot.
