The TaylorMade M5 drivers are speed injected to maximize ball speed and distance in the M5 driver. Also features a revolutionary twist face curve that provides more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low-heel to produce more of a consistent spin.

I am looking for 10.5 club but the pic here shows 9 deg loft but description says 10.5 so what is it actually 9 or 10.5
asked by Ajit J. on 7/28/2021
All pictures represent the brand and model only. the description will be the actual specs for the club so it would be 10.5.

Outstanding Customer Service

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

On April 26,2020, I purchased a Certified Preowned TaylorMade M5 Driver from GlobalGolf. When I received the M5 Driver, I discovered a large scratch on the top of the club and immediately called GlobalGolf customer service to express my displeasure. I was sent a return label that day (a Sunday)and returned the club to GlobalGolf the next day. By the end of the week, I had received a replacement club which was in perfect condition. I have been a customer of GlobalGolf since 2011 and placed over twenty-five orders since that time. This driver was the first club I have ever not been completely satisfied with from GlobalGolf, but I have to say that my club exchange was handled seamlessly and expediently. Kudos to the customer service staff. I will certainly continue to give my golfing needs business to GlobalGolf. They have earned it.

This Driver blew my expectations away. I have gained another 15 yards with a more straight ball flight. GG delivered exactly what they said. My new #1 place to shop!

Went from a Ping G25 I played forever to the M5. The sound and feel are very good. Twist face forgiveness is real. My miss is a high toe whiff and I get away with some of them. Lots of different weights and loft lie adjustment if you’re into it.

Not my first order from Global Golf but my first review.

First off amazing customer service clubs always arrive early despite the pandemic.

I used to play with the TaylorMade SLDR driver so I like to be able to adjust the weights to my preference.

Club is a maaajor upgrade you can feel and hear when you strike off the sweet spot. The twist fade technology still allows misshits to stay straight but that could be my settings.

Added about 15-20 yards to my drives and highly recommend if you are looking to upgrade.

Technology / Specs

M5 Driver Overview

Face of M5 Driver

Speed Injected

TaylorMade is doing something revolutionary for the M5 driver. As you look at the club face, you’ll notice 2 screws, one near the toe and one near the heel. These are used to inject tuning resin into each head to optimize the COR across the face. The result is ball speed as close to the USGA limit as possible, which translates to more distance.

View of Face from Toe Angle showing Twist Face

Twist Face

Twist Face™ technology returns to the M5 driver, delivering straighter shots. The face of the driver is curved to reduce the effect of off-center hits. The high-toe area of the face is curved slightly open with more left. This corrects for a low, hooking shot. Conversely, the low-heel area is curved closed with less loft, correcting a high, slicing shot.

Inverse T-Track and 10-gram adjustable weights

Inverse T-Track

The sole of the M5 driver has an Inverse T-Track that controls ball flight using 2 10-gram weights. A straight channel, perpendicular to the face, controls the height of shots. Slide one or both weights forward to lower ball flight and spin. Launch angle increases as weight is slid toward the back of the track. The “top” of the “T” is curved around the back of the club. Sliding weight toward the toe produces more fade-spin. Move the weight toward the heel to impart more draw-spin. The new design increases the MOI and lowers the CG of the M5 driver by letting weight be moved to the extreme perimeter of the clubhead.

Hammerhead Slot

Hammerhead 2.0

The Hammerhead slot on the sole of the M5 driver allows the face to flex at impact, creating more ball speed. The Hammerhead 2.0 slot is more flexible than the previous version, increasing the size of the sweet spot.
