Description

The TaylorMade M3 driver features new Twist Face technology engineered to reduce side spin and to deliver straighter shots as well as provide more loft in the high-toe and less loft in the low-heel for more consistent spin where golfers commonly miss-hit. The M3 also features a Hammerhead Slot that provides a larger sweet spot and increased ball speed for more distance while the Y-Track system allows you to move weight and adjust your settings for optimal trajectory, maximum forgiveness, or raw speed.

Condition Description

Bought this in the 9 degree with a project X hzrdous yellow shaft and the 2nd tee shot it hit the shaft broke where it inserts into the club head. Sent back to TM and they replaced the same club within a week. Awesome service and awesome club when you hit it correctly. Hit it poorly and it shows

Very Solid driver

Great driver, maybe the best results I've ever had. Maybe not the longest but kept it in the fairway most of the time.

All I can say is WOW! I played with this driver in my bag twice. Distance and accuracy were a significant improvement, hit 70% of FIR and averaged 280yds (in the fairway). Got the Tensei white shaft in stiff, 9 degree. Weight settings at middle. I made no changes to the weights, I will play around with these settings once I get more play time with the club.
Off center hits help A LOT with the twist face technology.
Needless to say, I will be trading in my Callaway driver for Taylor-made woods... Very very happy with this club.
Definitely made the switch to Taylormade driver from Callaway.
This helped my game, which is the bottom line.

So far the TM/M3 driver is living up to TaylorMade standards. I've only had the Driver a week and I like the adjustable settings. I'm still learning the Twist Face technology. The Driver was in very good condition for preowned(5 stars). looking for to hitting this with consistency.

Technology / Specs

There are 3 main technologies in the TaylorMade M3 440 driver.

Twist Face Technology

Twist Face technology is designed to straighten out mishits for improved accuracy. The most common miss for golfers is high-toe and low-heel. TaylorMade engineers addressed these misses by literally twisting the club face.

Shots hit on the toe generally miss left (for a RH golfer) with little spin. This produces a low, duck hook. On the opposite end of the spectrum, shots hit on the heel travel higher with more spin.

The toe on the M3 is open 0.5 degrees and adds 1 degree of loft. The heel is closed 0.5 degrees and delofted by a degree. These changes combat the miss tendencies, bringing those shots back towards the middle.

Hammerhead Technology

Hammerhead Technology is a slot on the sole of the M3 driver. Two ribs in the slot run nearly perpendicular to the clubface. Their strength allows the face to be made thinner, creating more ball speed and forgiveness.

The slot also flexes at impact, further amplifing ball speed and forgiveness across the face.

Y-Track Technology

The new Y-Track technology on the sole of the M3 driver gives you more control over your ball flight. 2 11-gram weights can be positioned to produce more draw or fade bias. They can also increase or decrease the launch angle and spin.
