The Callaway Rogue Sub Zero driver combines the power of Jailbreak Technology and X-Face VFT Technology to promote high ball speed and long distance while the Triaxial Carbon Crown increases MOI and provides lower spin. Two interchangeable weights (2-gram and 14-gram) help to adjust spin-rate and launch angle; put the 14-gram up front to lower spin, or in back for higher launch and increased MOI. Callaway worked with Boeing to improve their Speed Step technology to improve airflow and promote faster head speed. Designed to appeal to Tour pros, the Rogue Sub Zero driver is so forgiving and easy to hit, it is perfect for any amateur seeking lower spin.

Get It!!!!

This driver is amazing!!
I'm an average golfer with a pretty decent slice to my drive. My old driver was the Taylormade R15 with both weights on the Draw side. I used to drive the ball anywhere between 230-260yds depending on how bad the slice was. I used to face more left in my stance to compensate for my slice. I got the Rouge Sub Zero and adjusted the setting to Draw and ive consistently crushed the ball 250-270 with out having to compensate for the slice. I dont even have to put too much muscle to the swing because the club head does it for me. Im very happy w my purchase

Great driver. Sound is fantastic! distance is better than my Epic driver which was dialed in very well. Another player hit is 20 yards further and straighter than his driver. pretty sure he will buy one.

Best Driver Ever
By Carey S. on 2/7/2019

I ordered a Callaway 9 degree Rogue SZ driver after reading quite a few reviews and thought it might be a good fit for me. I used it yesterday for the first time and I was blown away with the performance. I am an 18 handicapper and this is by far the best driver I have ever swung. I was hitting the ball at least 20 to 30 yards farther than my 10.5 degree 2017 Taylormade M2.

Standard vs Sub Zero
By Brandon R on 7/8/2019

Handicap: 0-5  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I’ve played the standard Rogue since February. Distance was fantastic, about 10-15 yards longer than the Ping G driver I was playing. Mishits off the toe and heel seem to knock some spin off, so what you lose in carry distance you’ll make up for in roll. The standard Rogue is almost impossible to slice, so if that’s your big miss, that’s probably the driver for you. My big miss, unfortunately, is a snap hook. In an attempt to minimize that miss, I tested a Rogue Sub Zero, which sits square to slightly open compared to the standard model, which sits a little closed. If you’re concerned about forgiveness, don’t be. I feel the SZ is just as—if not MORE—forgiving thank the standard Rogue. Just keep that 14g weight in the back, and you’ll be just fine. The driver is workable, but slices are few and far between. You’ve really got to put a bad swing on the ball with this club to get it to misbehave. My average carry distance increased by around 7 yards (13 total), as well, and the ball flight with the Aldila Synergy 60 is mid-height and penetrating. Mishits feel more solid at impact and travel just as far. But,most importantly, no more snap hooks. Definitely test both before you pull the trigger, but, if your big miss is a hook, I’d definitely recommend the Sub Zero over the standard Rogue.

Great club with the right adjustments
By Michael S. on 9/28/2018

I played the regular rogue but felt the ball flight was too high so I ordered the Sub Zero on U-Try. I had poor results with a standard 9 degree loft, just couldn’t get it to stay in the air. With a +2 degree loft it was significantly better. The ball jumps off the face. Looks like I’ll be getting a new driver to replace my R11.

Technology / Specs

Callaway Rogue Sub Zero Driver

The Callaway Rogue drivers improve on the successful design of the GBB Epic drivers with these new features.

Engineers changed the design of their Jailbreak Technology in the Rogue drivers to deliver more ball speed and forgiveness. The new Jailbreak bars have a more “hourglass” shape that is 25% lighter than before. The saved weight is moved to strategic parts of the club head to increase forgiveness.

A new larger triaxial carbon crown also contributes weight savings, and therefore, more forgiveness to the Rogue drivers. It also makes the club head look bigger than the GBB Epic at address. A bigger head inspires confidence in being able to hit the club well.

Callaway again teamed up with Boeing to improve the aerodynamics of the Rogue drivers. The redesigned Speed Step on the crown improves airflow throughout the entire swing.

You’ll also notice the absence of a sliding weight on the sole of the Rogue drivers. The company found that the majority of golfers didn’t change the weight once they had it set. Taking the sliding weight out saves weight that is moved elsewhere for more added forgiveness.

The Rogue Sub Zero driver is the lower-spinning model of the 3 drivers. A 2-gram and 14-gram weight can be interchanged to control the launch and spin characteristics. Putting the heavier weight forward lowers the spin and ball flight. Putting it in the rear spot increases launch and spin.

Below is a list of the stock loft, shaft, and dexterity options for the Rogue Sub Zero driver.
