Technology / Specs
The XXIO X driver uses a variety of technologies to create easier distance for moderate swing speeds. Read on to learn more.
Hi-Energy Impact Head
The XXIO X driver is made for high launching shots with maximum ball speed. To accomplish this, they use a Hi-Energy Impact head design. Areas on the toe and crown are thin, creating better overall aerodynamics and ball speed in those areas.
A channel on the sole near the heel of the club compresses at impact, generating more ball speed should you happen to hit it there.
The face of the XXIO X driver has what they call "Cup Face Construction." The outside of the face is thinned out to save (and relocate) weight for forgiveness.
Finally, the sweet spot is bigger, covering the majority of the club face.
Lightweight, Low Swing MOI
Every part of the XXIO X driver is made lighter than other companies. As a result, you can swing the club faster and get as much (if not more) distance with the same amount of effort.
Smart Impact Shaft
As golfers swing, the body is pulled in different directions, getting them off-balance and off-plane with their swing. The Smart Impact Shaft reduces these effects by making the butt end of the shaft more flexible. This causes the club to travel closer to the body and on-plane for more consistent contact.
