Q
Hello ! Why does titleist not add a 3 iron to the new 718 Ap2 and Ap3 ?
asked by William C. on 9/3/2017
A
Titleist does not offer stock sets with the 3 iron. A custom set with a 3 iron can be ordered here: https://www.globalgolf.com/custom-clubs/titleist/iron-set/

I ordered Titlest AP2 718 irons in as advertised ‘excellent condition’. After receiving the clubs I am very happy to say the clubs were in MINT condition for an amazing price! Thank you Global Golf you have a new customer, looking forward to my next purchase.

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I played with 690mbs for many yrs, haven't played in 6 yrs due to work and getting back into playing again. Needed irons that look like blades but forgiving and these are them. Bought them in mint condition and they were brand new. Still in new plastic wrapping from Titleist. I know these will be in the bag for many yrs to come

Great Sticks

A recently converted Titleist guy, nothing feels like a set of AP2s. They aren't the longest irons, but they are very forgiving for a player's iron. They are a classic compact shape that sets up very well behind the ball. So far loving these irons. Vokey's going in the bag soon.

Technology / Specs

Titleist 718 AP2 irons are an elite, tour-level iron that adds consistent distance and forgiveness over previous models.

Made to go Fast, Far

718 AP2 irons are a co-forged, cavity back iron. To boost speed, designers thinned out the face insert and forged body, which flexes more.

Launch conditions (angle and spin) are also improved with a new CG progression. The CG location on longer irons is more centered and lowered, causing shots to fly higher and land softer for consistent distance control.

Perimeter Weighting

Forgiveness on the long and mid irons is increased by adding an average of 57.4 grams of high-density tungsten weight to the heel and toe of the clubs. More perimeter weighting makes the clubs more stable and forgiving on mishits.

Improved Looks, Familiar Feel

Titleist 718 AP2 irons have the signature feel of past Titleist irons. Well-struck shots feel pure and mishits give instant feedback to help any needed improvements.

The leading edge of the 718 AP2 irons is also more rounded, allowing the club to enter and exit the turf better for more consistent contact.

These are your Utry selections. Only Utry eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our Utry golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club or $100 an iron set. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. Utry lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club or 1 iron set for $100.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

Utry gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
