The Launcher HB irons bring the forgiveness and trajectory of hybrids, all the way through your irons. The irons feature a hollow construction and internal stabilizing ribs that provide drastically more forgiveness than typical cavity back irons. The HiBore Crown features low, deep weighting for an easy to hit, high ball flight while the high-strength steel face increases COR across the face for explosive distance. Progressive design features more hybrid-like long irons and more iron-like short irons, all with built-in forgiveness. Start hitting it higher, straighter, and farther today with the Launcher HB irons.

  • Fully hollow hybrid-type head makes these irons extremely stable and forgiving
  • The HiBore Crown moves CG low and back for high launch and distance
  • A strong HT1770 steel face flexes at impact for more ball speed
  • Internal Ribs on the top and rear of the club head improve sound and feel
  • Progressive design: Long irons have hybrid look and performance. Short irons look more like an iron for better control

why are these Hb clubs being sold new on ebay for $499 a set ?
asked by Richard W. on 11/28/2017
The set I see for that price on eBay is the 6 iron through PW (5 clubs) while the sets we show are 4-PW (7 clubs). Both are offered at roughly $100 per club.

Technology / Specs

The Cleveland Launcher HB irons are a full set of hybrid-like irons that are long in distance and high in forgiveness. These features are what make the club perform so well for golfers that need the most forgiveness in their irons.

Hollow-Body Construction

Each Launcher HB iron has a hollow body, keeping the weight on the outside of the club for extremely high MOI (forgiveness). It also helps launch the ball higher, with optimal spin.

HiBore Crown

The CG of the Launcher HB irons is further controlled by the HiBore Crown. The crown shape moves the CG lower and deeper for a higher trajectory shot that lands softly.

Progressive Shaping

As the set progresses, the shape of the club head changes. Long irons have a hybrid-like look to them. Clubs look more and more like a traditional iron as they get shorter, providing more control.

Better Sound and Feel

To make the clubs sound and feel better, Cleveland designers placed stablizing internal ribs along the top line and toward the back of the club. The ribs reduce vibrations on mishits and have a solid sound on shots struck pure.
