Description

The Cobra F-Max fairway features an offset hosel design that creates higher launch with more draw bias for straighter, more accurate shots and a forged 455 stainless steel face insert that delivers more speed and distance on off-center hits. The visually appealing crown alignment feature makes it easy to align the clubhead at address for straighter shots off the tee and down the fairway while a fixed, back weight positioned near the heel promotes higher launch and more forgiving, straighter ball flights.

OK Club

Handicap: 21+  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

Got the F-Max 5 wood to replace my Tour Edge 5 wood. I have the F Max Driver which I hit straight down the middle although I do get about 10 yards more with the Cobra. I DO NOT like the draw bias. I get a big hook which I never got before and rarely do I hit it straight. Still working on it but don't like the club at this point.

These F-Max fairway woods are simple to hit. I would recommend these clubs to anyone having issues hitting any other brand.

Too high

At 16 degree loft the launch angle was too high without roll. If you want to hit the high off the turf this is a great club

Prefer the king f7 5wood

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

This one wants to go straight and it easily launches high but just doesn’t go nearly as far as other fairway woods I have tried. It is very forgiving and stays in the fairway most of the time despite my ability to slice. Would be great for a lot of newer or high handicap golfers I know. My cobra king f7 five wood is a better fit for me. It goes farther and I get more consistent repeatable distance control with the f7 than I do with fmax. The fmax would be great for my father in law who is new to golf and wants to see that ball get up in the air and go. It would make golf easier and more enjoyable for him. Considering how easy it was for me to get safe results from the fmax wood with my inconsistent golf swing I am curious how the fmax 6hybrid would work out for me.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
