The Mizuno JPX 900 Forged iron set is designed to take players to the next level with increased distance and forgiveness with all of the technology that it offers. First, the club head is thin and delivers distance because of the Grain Flow Forged 1025 Boron composition. Next, Mizuno’s Power Frame Technology distributes weight into the corners of the club, allowing maximum forgiveness on the occasional poor shot. Finally, the JPX 900 Forged irons are equipped with a reengineered CNC Milled Pocket that gives these clubs a high launch angle for players to attack the pin.

All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Technology / Specs

The Mizuno JPX 900 Forged iron set is grain flow forged using 1025 Boron. Boron is stronger, thinner, and hotter than the 1025E carbon steel used in the JPX 850 Forged irons. This material allowed Mizuno to move the saved weight around the head to increase forgiveness.

The Mizuno JPX 900 Forged iron set has a new COR Tech Design. The design utilizes a multi-thickness face to increase ball speed on shots hit in the center or off center.

There is a reshaped pocket cavity on the JPX 900 Forged iron set as well. The thinnest areas on the heel and toe of the sole are extended to increase ball speed across the face. Almost 22 grams are redistributed to the Power Frame for stability and forgiveness.
