The TaylorMade M2 Tour Irons are preprogrammed to kick the ball into the air. A 360° undercut cavity and fluted hosel save weight, which reposition the center of gravity low and deep in the club head. Since the cavity increases the unsupported area and saves weight from the top of the head, the end result is a boost to launch, fast ball speeds, and additional forgiveness.

Mass is typically trapped in the hosel of most irons. The M2 irons utiliize a thick-thin fluted hosel which saves 3 grams of discretionary weight. Removing the weight redistributes it lower and deeper in the club head for improved feel.

The M2 irons use a Speed Pocket which is a urethane-filled slot in the sole of the 3-7 irons. Known as its "Blind Version," the Speed Pocket allows the entire face to flex more effectively at impact. This flexibility increases launch angle and ball speed while providing added forgiveness for shots struck low on the face.

A Thin-Face with Inverted Cone Technology design improve distance consistency by thickening the center of the club face. This means you can hit the ball poorly and still play well enough to bash the ball straight ahead.

V-shaped struts stiffen the hitting area without inhibiting ball speed. The support beams improve the sound quality and dampen unwanted vibrations for superior feel.
