Description

The Titleist AP2 716 Forged irons deliver tour proven performance, looks and feel. These irons feature an advanced performance design with forged 1025 carbon steel, co-forged tungsten weighting in the heel and toe (3-7 irons) and a lower CG that is better aligned for impact and consistent speeds. The use of the tungsten moves weight to the perimeter increasing MOI for speed on off center hits offering more forgiveness. The Titleist AP2 716 irons are the most advanced, solid feeling and forgiving Tour played irons that Titleist has ever created.

Q
What handicap range do these suit?
asked by Nicholas P. on 11/6/2015
A
The AP1 716 iron is for golfers seeking maximum distance and forgiveness. The construction of this iron will typically fit someone who is between a high single digit handicapper shooting around 80 looking for exceptional performance or up to a mid-to-high handicapper seeking superior game improvement, shooting around 90-95.

Q
what are the shaft weights and can i get the lie adjusted
asked by James T. on 12/2/2016
A
Since there are multiple options as far as the shafts available with the set, we will need more information in order to assist you. Please contact our Customer Service Department by dialing 866-843-0262 for assistance. Since the AP2 716 is forged, the lie angle can be adjusted but that would have to be done locally as we do not provide that service at our facility.

Q
Hi, would you just sell the 'heads' on their own, no shafts required?
asked by David N. on 1/31/2017
A
Unfortunately, we do not sell just the club heads.

Technology / Specs

The Titleist 716 AP2 iron is an enhanced version of the 714 AP2 iron. They took the most advanced players’ iron and found a way to make it even better. This iron is perfect for you if you’re seeking a tour-proven design with the perfect blend of distance, forgiveness and feel. The distance derives from the high-density tungsten that’s positioned both in the toe and heel of the clubhead. These precise locations place the center of gravity low and centered perfectly for more speed at impact. The feel and forgiveness come from the co-forged construction which increases the forgiveness, especially on off-center hits.

The Titleist 716 AP2 irons are available in three through pitching wedge and W. The 716 AP2 irons feature the True Temper Dynamic Golf AMT as the stock shaft, available in multiple flexes and showcasing a lower trajectory profile.
