The Alpha 816 Fairway is the latest fairway wood with two enlarged screws on the bottom to deliver more stability. The Cup Face, forged composite crown and adjustable hosel are engineered to give Tour player-like high performance.
Cup Face technology improves the amount of face flexing for higher ball speed on off-center hits. The face flexes inward to achieve better distance, performance, and feel.
The two weights on the sole are spread far apart giving a player the option of a back or forward center of gravity location. Shifting a 16-gram heavy weight back and a 3-gram light weight forward gives players lower spin. Switching the weights in the opposite position creates more forgiveness and higher launch.
Tune the fairway with an 8-way OptiFit adjustable hosel. Add loft, take loft off or adjust the lie angle to customize your swing. The modern shaping provides more MOI and control from a variety of lies. A rounded shape allows the fairway wood to be played from almost any lie you encounter out on the course.
