The TaylorMade SpeedBlade HL (high launch) iron features a low CG and added loft for a higher trajectory. The improved and lower CG placement produces a steeper, softer-landing, quicker-stopping approach angle and reduces dispersion to promote increased accuracy. Each SpeedBlade HL iron is individually engineered to maximize distance and to tighten the gap between your long irons and metal woods. In addition, the tour inspired wedge design gives you optimal greenside performance. The combination of distance, performance and forgiveness is what you can expect from the game changing SpeedBlade HL irons.

I play stiff flex irons. Saw these SpeedBlades have a "uniflex" shaft. What the heck is is that? Is it stiff? How would it perform different from a "stiff" flex. My hdcp is a 5.
asked by Rich K. on 2/3/2017
Uniflex falls in between regular and stiff. It is meant to work sufficiently for a large population of golfers. In comparison to a stiff flex, it is going to give slightly higher ball flight and more spin while playing softer than the stiff will.

I absolutely NEVER leave reviews, HOWEVER Global Golf is by far the best website to buy clubes from. I puchased a set of the Taylormade Speedblade irons on 6/12. First of all I got them on the 17th using ground shipping ( pretty quick ). Then when I recieved the clubs and opened the I was just AMAZED. I ordered a set under the " value " condition and they are in such great condition its really unreal with all the clubs having new grips. I am THROUGHLY impressed with Global Golf glad to see someone is doing something right. HIGHLY RECOMMEDED to anyone thinking about a purchase you will NOT be disappointed. I kno I wasn't I mean afterall this is the first review that I've ever left in 31yrs so that's saying something. Thank you Global Golf you guys are effin AWESOME!!

I had researched the Speedblade irons and liked what I read. When I ordered these I didn't realize the difference between the regular Speedblades and the HL version. The HL's don't have the speed pockets. They have slightly bigger lofts.

Great iron set for the money

These have a great investment since day one. I've noticed better distance and consistency overall since using these irons (granted, I was upgrading from some pretty old clubs). I have the 4-AW set, which is nice to have the 50 degree wedge included. When you strike these irons pure, the ball absolutely explodes off the face. The uniflex shafts are fine. Took me a few times on the range to get used to but they're just all around great irons for the price.

I actually went from the M2's to this set. I like the feel and sound much better than the M2 irons. The flex has thrown me off a little bit, its a uniflex (between a stiff and regular). I need to play them more to get that consistent swing. Really like them.

These irons are really long, picked up a club and a half. Good powerful feel...Light shafts feel nice. The dark coating isn't as durable as you might like, but decent. AW is not cavity back
