New and Used Nike Vapor Pro Combo Iron Set Golf Clubs

I believe these irons are underrated and may end up surprising you in terms of its workability, feedback, and feel. They aren't by any means the longest irons in its class but I think they make up for it in precision and accuracy. I have been 100% satisfied with the purchase thus far. It's unfortunate that Nike is no longer a player in the market for golf clubs, but I think this is a nice little finale and should now be available at an attractive price point.

These new vapor irons are great. I like Global's custom clubmaking service because you can order exactly what's needed. I'm sure these irons will be in the bag 2015.

I love global and these clubs. Have ordered now 6 times and only one item in "vale" condition showed up in a condition where I would say it was "as advertised"; a Scotty Cameron Red X putter that clearly had been carried without a head cover for many rounds. Everything else was far better. These irons, Nike vapor pros, also blades, showed up in great condition and I liked the way the played and the visual set up and look but I'm going with a different set; also from global just because they suit my game better. Great clubs though and forgiving for blades. Btw with codes and discounts I bought 4 iron sets, two Cameron putters, a hybrid, and 4 wedges for less than $1000. That's amazing. Global rocks.

After my first round of testing and beating balls on the range, I found these clubs were a pleasant surprise from what I had expected. The forging doesn't feel quite as soft as a Mizuno, but it's certainly reactive and gives you plenty of feedback. Distance is a little less than a typical cavity back, but that is to be expected. Shots fly true and straight and the stock shaft offering of the DG Pro is a fantastic choice. Believe it or not, Nike is a real player in the game now.

I ordered these in the KBS shafts and really enjoy the weight and feel these Nike’s produce. They will let you know when you miss hit it but also give you that soft feel when it is pured. I think the distance is very strong for a club that is not super de lofted. Meaning a 7 iron will play closer to a 7 iron and not a 5 iron. It’s crazy how these newer clubs can hit 7 iron 180+ and barely trying. That is a different story altogether. Glad to see Nike bowed out of the club business on a high note with the vapor line and if you buy a set from global golf, you won’t be disappointed. Been a customer for many years and they strive to treat you right.

This is a great set of irons. I moved from the Nike Vapor Fly Pro to these. Needed some time to adjust at first as the shafts are a lot heavier. But after a few range sessions I was able to hit the sweetspot and the feedback is just pure. I had a slight decrease in distance but not by much, the much better feel of these clubs is what I'm after.

Props to GlobalGolf as well. I received the clubs in "very good" conditions and they are indeed really good. Still have a lot of playing time left. Shame that Nike stopped making clubs though.

I've loved this set since I hit it at a local shop. My shots are long enough and very playable. Consistent feel and easily workable.

If you need game improvement, these are not the irons for you. Heads are smaller, smaller sweet spot, less forgiveness.

Small head, definitely for the more advanced player
