The Nike Vapor Pro irons are forged from 1025 carbon steel for soft feel, but the CG position has been shifted by removing mass in the heel area and repositioning it in the toe section. By thickening the body (in the toe section), this reduced vibrations in the top-toe area, which gives this a better feel and sound making it perform better.?

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

are these vapor pro clubs blades? & is the $1380.73 price include shipping as i live in new zealand?
asked by Noble M. on 3/28/2016
These are designed with a model muscle back that balances the center of gravity in the center of face for the highest stability and best feel to be expected for a blade type iron. In order to get the total price, you must add the item to your shopping cart and then change your shipping destination from "continental US" to "international". Select your country of New Zealand from the drop down menu and it will update your total cost to include shipping to your location. This does not include duties and taxes on the product, which will be your responsibility upon delivery.

Does this specific set listed have multicompound grip? Is there any possibility you all have a set of the same iron with Project X 6.0 Shafts?
asked by Sameer A. on 7/13/2016
There is not a way for us to guarantee the type of grip on a pre-owned set as the customer that had it before could have changed the grip. We state the set will come with a playable grip. Our sets are pre-boxed and could have more than one of the same item. We also ship from multiple location. Our shipping department will simply pick the item on top and process the shipment. Please refer to the product details regarding the type of shaft available.

Are these clubs forgiving? I am still using my starter kit(6 years old clubs now) that i recieved when I was just starting to get into golf, im hoping that these new irons can help me improve
asked by Olliver O. on 6/21/2017
The Vapor Pro is designed for single digit handicap players and is not very forgiving. It is designed for feel and feedback as well as controlled trajectory.

Nike vapor pro irons

The delevery was perfect in a nice karton box and in a quick time. But the quality if the club was not what i was expecting. The ptevieus owner had removed the yellow logo and painted in purple. This was done in a very unprofessional way. Also the grips were cut in halve to regrip but where not uet regript. I tried to remove te paint but the result is even worse the before it was purple. Then I regriped the clubs whitch cost me €180 (215$) when i bought the clubs i know that is was second hand. But when i would know that they are in this bad shape, I would never bought them!!

Buttery Forgiveness

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

Don't be put off by the muscle back style blade or smaller club head appearance. Put 400 balls down range my first day and not a single mishit caused the dreaded blade shiver. Have played forged cavity backs that are less forgiving and more painful. These will cut through turf like no other. Buried a ball in my back yard in a foot long laid over grass patch to test and still hit the ball over my fence with the pitching wedge. I also own the vapor fly irons and would choose these every time. More penetrating flight and the confidence that if you can get to the ball it will do your will. Softest feeling irons I have ever played!!!! Believe the reviews! Like Seve you will wish the fairways were more narrow - but only for the joy these are to play out of the rough should you find yourself there.

P.S. - Don't pay attention to the Rick Shiels video review on youtube - he is clearly striking all over the place and isn't man enough for these clubs. (clearly an off day for him, his reviews are some of the best usually)

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play monthly  Dexterity: Right Hand

Buttery smooth feel when striking the center of the ball. Good forgiveness compared to other players irons. Phenomenal distance control, tons of feedback! Stunning look as well. It's a shame Nike stopped making these. Will keep them around for a while.

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

The title says it all. Softest feeling/sounding iron I've ever hit. Very easy to hit for a blade type of iron. If you played the VR Pro Combo CB irons you should definitely gives these a try.

I have been playing with a Set I bought a **** a couple of years ago it’s a beginners set and I have recently and consistently been hitting in the mid to low 90’s and I play about once every week I was wondering if these clubs were way above my skill level or should I be ok ? And what do the clubs really look like when they are the value clubs ?

The Nike Vapor Pro Irons: The Purest Player’s Iron Yet

The Nike Vapor Pro irons create fast ball speeds, and produce superior control with the purest feel. The perfectly positioned center of gravity (CG) paired with an overall forward weight produce powerful and piercing shots. The X3X machine milled grooves provide enhanced spin control and ultimate shot-shaping ability. It’s a simple one-piece forged clubhead construction allowing for the purest feedback possible, while the narrow sole provides crisp turf interaction for maximum versatility.

The Nike Vapor Pro iron is available in 3-PW. The profile of the clubhead appeals to the eye of the modern player. It has straight leading edges, thin toplines, and the slightest offset. The iron also features longer, flowing blade lengths that coincide with lower face heights, making it a ball-strikers dream.

The Nike Vapor Pro irons have the True Temper Dynamic Gold shaft, available in regular, stiff, and extra stiff flexes. This shaft is nothing short of a perfect fit for the clubhead, both designed for highly skilled players. The shaft will aid in providing a low and penetrating ball flight allowing for definitive control and accuracy.
