  • 360 Face Cup Technology - If you want to know what makes the extra distance possible this is it. The cup technology generates BALL SPEED across the face through a VFT and with maximum CG.
  • Internal Standing Wave - The CG is low and forgiving, and by doing this we can offer up the full package of high MOI for maximum forgiveness and ball speed.
  • Performance Construction - The hollow body construction is all about maximum performance, and the type of ball speed you see off the center of the face, you’ll get that all over the face now.

These irons are every bit of what they advertise. The most forgiving irons I have ever played. Very easy to hit, and the distance is extremely long. I have a set with the Recoil Graphite Shafts and they are awesome. Worth every penny I spent. If you are looking for a very long, very forgiving, very easy set of irons, you got to give these a try. They are awesome!!!

Love Big Bertha!
By Michael G. on 12/21/2017

I love these clubs. Have XHot irons and they’re good but I got the BBFusion woods and BigBertha hybrids with the Recoil shafts and I really liked the shafts. These irons though performed better than I expected. It is much easier to get in the air and easily reach the distances my XHot irons do. These clubs feel good with the swing and impact. This is after playing 1 round and hitting in the driving range a good hour to get the feel. Now I’m eager to go out this Friday and use them. They might be replacing my XHot irons not sure what to do with them maybe 2nd standby set. I shoot in the high 80’s sometimes over low 90’s. Hoping to break 85 and stay out of the 90’s

I love the feel and feedback of the Big Bertha Irons. Took a little bit to learn how to hit them and where the sweet spot is, but I have gained a little distance and a lot of accuracy with them.

The Callaway Big Bertha Irons

The Callaway Big Bertha irons will have you hitting the ball up to two clubs further than your current irons. Seriously! The golf ball will be traveling further because of the higher ball speeds this iron produces. The higher ball speeds generate from a 360 Face Cup Technology borrowed from Callaway’s fairway wood designs. The combination of this with the Internal Standing Wave creates the hottest iron Callaway has ever produced. To add to the desirability of this iron, they've also found a way to create a more flexible iron face. The more flexible the face is, the more energy is transferred back into the golf ball, springing it off the face with serious speed. A flexible face also increases forgiveness, creating a larger sweet spot than previous irons.

Callaway has improved the looks of their irons and the sole on the Big Bertha irons are just what you’re looking for. They’re wider in the long irons, to breed confidence, and narrower in the short irons, for improved precision. This progressive, and modern looking topline will give you all the confidence in the world. Continuing with problem solving, we all know that long irons can be a pain to hit. That’s why you can purchase the Callaway Big Bertha iron set in a hybrid combo. The long irons are replaced with a Big Bertha hybrid that can be purchased separately. These hybrids even feature the OptiFit hosel, with eight different settings, making it Callaway’s first adjustable hybrid. Now that’s some added value!
